In October 2014, the women of One World, One Dream (OWOD), a local non-profit fighting for better breast cancer treatment and awareness in Ningbo, hosted the first Pink Party. The event was a lavish dinner and fundraiser geared towards raising money for helping sponsored women with breast cancer in the city.
Due to the high costs of breast cancer treatment in China (over 300,000 RMB), and the fact that the government can only provide 100,000 RMB to patients in all, the Pink Party fundraiser is to help women in need be able to meet the costs of their treatment. In the first year, OWOD raised 26,000 RMB that provided 6 women with 3,000 RMB for treatment. Next year, this number increased, to 56,000 RMB for 8 women (6,000 RMB each). This year, with your support, the Pink Party hopes to raise 75,000 RMB.
The 3rd Annual Pink Party will take place this year at the Westin Ningbo on October 14th at 6:30 PM. There will be dinner, drinks, as well as live entertainment, gift auctions, lucky draws, and giveaways throughout the night. The fundraising goal for this year’s party is 75,000 RMB, and with your help One World One Dream can help make this goal a reality.
在宁波致力于募集乳腺癌治疗善款并提高公众对乳腺癌的意识的地方性非盈利组织“一个世界一个梦想”的女性成员们于2014年10月举办了第一场粉色派对。这是是一场以奢华晚宴形式的资金筹集活动，旨在为宁波身患乳腺癌的女性们筹集治疗费用。
在中国，乳腺癌治疗的总费用高达30万人民币，而政府只为患者出资10万人民币，因此粉色派对资金筹集活动的目的在于帮助有需要的女性募集乳腺癌治疗的总费用。在第一届粉色派对中，“一个世界一个梦想”共筹集了26000人民币，6位女性每人获得3000人民币用于治疗。第二届粉色派对的善款总额增长到56000人民币，为8位女性提供治疗费用（每人6000人民币）。今年，在各位爱心人士的支持下，粉色派对希望能够募集75000人民币。
第三届年度粉色派对将于10月14日晚上6点半在宁波威斯汀酒店举行。当晚，来宾们可享受豪华晚餐和酒水，参与现场娱乐节目、礼物拍卖、幸运抽奖，还可获得赠品。今年这场派对的募款目标是75000人民币。相信在各位的帮助下，“一个世界一个梦想”定会实现这个目标。
